  • DB Design:
    • Define and implement database solutions on Azure SQL DB and Azure SQL Server MI, ensuring they meet business requirements and performance goals.
    • Should be familiar with different tiers available for Azure SQL Server and Azure SQL DB and should be able to advise the right tier based on the business and performance requirements and cost optimization.
    • Aware of Latest features available in SQL.
    • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and design fundamentals.
  • Database Development, Maintenance and Optimization:
    • Able to write complex Stored Procedures, Create Complex tables while keeping performance a key consideration.
    • Well versed with indexing, partitions, Views, Joins, CTE and other techniques to write high-performance queries.
    • Aware of Data Caching mechanism and its implementation.
    • Fine-tune SQL queries for optimal performance, analyze and optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and performance monitoring tools.
    • Identify and troubleshoot database-related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space, and other resource contention issues.
    • Advise on best SQL coding practices.
  • Integration and Migration:
    • Integrate SQL Server solutions in .NET environments (working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, and SOA with web services).
    • Familiarity with a SQL Server Data Warehouse platform, Azure Data Factory, SSRS and SSIS.
  • SQL Administration:
    • Basic understanding of DB Administration, like managing the Database, backups, File groups, User role and access management, creating linked servers.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of implementing database systems, with at least 3 years using MS SQL.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in SQL programming concepts, including Common Table Expressions (CTE).
    • Data modeling expertise, including understanding of normalized forms.
    • Design and development of stored procedures, views, and triggers.
    • Integration of SQL Server solutions in .NET environments.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to address database issues and find efficient solutions.
Education:Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.Certifications:Relevant certifications such as SQL, MCSA, MCSE, or MCDBA are desirable.At YASH, you are empowered to create a career that will take you to where you want to go while working in an inclusive team environment.
