The ideal candidate will be an active team member with a deep understanding of modern security technologies and a proven track record of designing and implementing robust and effective security solutions. This role requires a strong blend of broad technical understanding of cloud native/on-premises solutions, business acumen, and excellent communication and presentation skills.Responsibilities

• Security Architecture & Design:
  • Lead the design of security architectures for applications, including cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments.
  • Develop and maintain strategic plans aligned with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies and solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), endpoint security, data loss prevention (DLP), and cloud security services.
  • Conduct security assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Technical Leadership & Guidance:
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security engineers and other teams.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies.
  • Research and evaluate new security technologies and tools.
• Project Management & Delivery:
  • Lead security-related projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery/hand-off.
  • Work closely with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure security is integrated into the software development lifecycle.
  • Understand cost estimates and project schedules.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication & Collaboration:
  • Present security solutions and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
• Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, GDPR, CCPA).
  • Assist with security audits and assessments conducted by internal and external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in information security, with a strong focus on security architecture and engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing security solutions in complex environments.
• Global exposure is MUST. US/UK client exposure most preferred.
• Strong understanding of security principles, concepts, and best practices.
• Expertise in security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, data loss prevention, and cloud security services.
• Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Experience with cloud security platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Azure/AWS certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel hands-on is mandatory.
