Job Description

    The Area Sales Manager position at Univia Pvt. Ltd. entails leading and supervising sales activities within specific regions in Gujarat. Forecasting product requirements on a monthly basis is also a crucial aspect of the role.In terms of team leadership, you will recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Representatives. Additionally, building and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders like GPs, farmers, and agricultural cooperatives is vital. Addressing customer inquiries, identifying needs, and offering suitable product recommendations are key components of customer relationship management.Market analysis is another critical aspect of the role, involving staying informed about industry trends, conducting market research, and using data-driven insights to adjust sales strategies accordingly. Developing a deep understanding of the companys agricultural products and services, educating the sales team and customers about them, and promoting app usage among GPs are essential tasks.Furthermore, preparing and managing the sales budget, generating regular sales reports, and ensuring compliance with agricultural regulations and standards are part of the responsibilities. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelors degree in agriculture, business, or a related field, with proven experience in agricultural sales or a similar role. Strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and negotiation abilities, as well as proficiency in sales management software, are required. Additionally, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a willingness to travel within the assigned region are essential.The position offers a full-time job type, with benefits including health insurance, life insurance, and a performance bonus.
