Job Description

    As an Electrical Design Engineer for EPC projects, your role will involve preparing layouts in accordance with IS standards and creating Single Line Diagrams (SLD). You will be responsible for ensuring sustainability, quality, and reliability of all systems and designs prepared by the electrical design executive or Design Consultant. Your responsibilities will include cable size selection, load calculation, panel selection, transformer selection, and other equipment selection with a focus on cost efficiency and safety standards. Additionally, you will provide guidance to the design executive, present various design perspectives for construction enhancements, and be involved in shortlisting Bill of Materials (BOM) as per project requirements.Qualification Required:- BE/B Tech/Diploma in ElectricalKey Responsibilities:- Prepare layouts in accordance with IS standards and create Single Line Diagrams (SLD)- Ensure sustainability, quality, and reliability of all systems and designs- Select cable sizes, calculate loads, choose panels and transformers, and select other equipment with a focus on cost efficiency and safety standards- Provide guidance to design executive, present design perspectives for construction enhancements, and shortlist Bill of Materials (BOM)Additional Details:You will report to the Project Manager and oversee the Electrical Design Executive. We are looking for an experienced electrical design engineer with proficiency in AutoCAD and Dialux software. The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, knowledge of IS standards, drawing interpretation skills, and proficiency in English written and verbal communication are essential. Strong decision-making skills and prior experience in the utility system construction industry are highly preferable.Minimum 3 years of work experience is required for this full-time, permanent position. The salary will be as per industry norms with no bar for the right talent.
