Job Description

    As an Executive IT (Linux Systems and Support) at Marwadi Shares and Finance Limited, you will be a part of a well-diversified group involved in Financial Services, Education, and Solar energy. With over 2000 employees, Marwadi Financial Services operates across 104 locations in Gujarat and neighboring states, serving a customer base of 4.1L individuals.In this role, your primary responsibility will be to provide support for Linux infrastructure at Marwadi Financial Services. You should hold a full-time Diploma/Degree with experience in IT Server Operations, preferably holding certifications like RHCSA, RHCE, and Information Security. Your previous experience of 2 to 5 years in the IT department, particularly in Stock Broking companies, will be valuable.You will be tasked with installing, setting up, and maintaining Linux servers and systems to ensure high availability and performance, minimizing downtime, and supporting business continuity. Your expertise in Linux operating systems like Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu will be crucial, along with managing system hardware and applications.Being able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include managing the performance of the Linux operating system, ensuring cyber security, and implementing security controls to protect the organizations data and infrastructure. Additionally, you will work on LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, along with troubleshooting technology issues and participating in change management processes.To excel in this role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of technologies. Effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills are also necessary.
