Job Description

    As an Executive/Senior Executive in IT at Marwadi Shares and Finance Limited, your main responsibility will be to provide Linux infrastructure support. Marwadi is a well-diversified group based in Rajkot, Gujarat, established in 1992. With over 2000 employees, we are involved in Financial Services, Education, and Solar Energy sectors.You should hold a full-time Diploma/Degree with experience in IT Server Operations, preferably with certifications like RHCSA, RHCE, etc. An Information Security certification would be an added advantage for this position. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience in the IT department, specifically in a Stock Broking company, with expertise in Linux OS, Networking, Firewall, and Endpoint Security.Your responsibilities will include installing, setting up, and maintaining Linux servers and systems to ensure high availability and performance, thereby minimizing downtime and supporting business continuity. You should have a deep understanding of Linux operating systems such as Red Hat, CentOS, and Ubuntu, along with managing system performance and applications.Moreover, you will need to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, possess knowledge of cyber security trends, hacking techniques, VAPT audit-related information, and be familiar with technology infrastructure including firewalls, VPN, DLP, IDS/IPS, and web-related securities. Good knowledge of LAN, WAN, and wireless networks is also essential.Your day-to-day tasks will involve working with various technologies, troubleshooting Linux systems, and ensuring appropriate security controls are in place to protect the organizations data and infrastructure. Additionally, you will be responsible for daily server-related tasks, reporting, communication, and actively participating in troubleshooting and upgrading processes, particularly for Trading Technologies like ODIN servers.To excel in this role, you should have strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, outstanding problem-solving skills, excellent time management, organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work well in a team. Continuous learning, adaptability to new technologies, and being efficient, organized, and professional are also key attributes we are looking for in a candidate.This is a full-time position with benefits including health insurance, a morning shift schedule, performance bonuses, and yearly bonuses.
