Job Description

Kindly go through the below-mentioned detail:Designation: R & D (Design) ManagerLocation: RajkotExperience in Submersible Pump is CompulsoryJD:

  1. Pump design validation after manufacturing, Assemble & Testing according to market requirements.
  2. Product Bench marked & analysis other competitors product.
  3. Prepare Bills of Material & Performance curves also pump performance type testing with npshr.
  4. Knowledge of GDT providing tolerances for design and specifications for mechanical controls and product assembly.
  5. In-dependent decision making in work area of Horizontal Volute pumps, Vertical turbine & Mix-flow pumps & Submersible pumps and submersible sewage motors-non clog & Axial-flow.
  6. Electrical Motor (Mechanical part only) Design Sub. Motor (LT & HT), Surface Motors LT only.
  7. Knowledge of sheet metal forming and fabrication, component Machine, casting, pattern Drawings.
  8. Flexibility, New skill learning and absorbing, Interpersonal relationship, Wide view and focused problem, able to give training to juniors related to tools and techniques of design and drafting for new part/product development execution/tracking manufacturing process of new design.
  9. Exposure to use APQP tools in product tooling design, customer interaction for product approval.
  10. Exposure to Star Labeling like 5 Star, 3 Star, 2 Star, 1 Star as per Bureau of Energy Efficiency BEE and ISI Marked pumps and motors.
  11. Exposure to Mechanical Seal for using seals and their API Plan and Applications.
  12. Exposure to offshore sea water, Mining, application, Low life cycle pump, Coro coating, Epoxy coating.
  13. Exposure to tool design lining, investment & moulding die design. Rich experience in development of sheet metal and Pattern development for sand casting components.
  14. Expertise in solving customers problems for critical designs to achieve desired performance, targets.
