Job Description

    As an experienced Hotel Accountant with a minimum of 4 to 5 years in a similar role, you will be responsible for various key areas:- **Financial Reporting:** You will be in charge of preparing and analyzing accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.- **Budgeting and Forecasting:** Your role will involve assisting in the development of the hotels annual budget, monitoring departmental performance against the budget, conducting variance analysis, and preparing financial forecasts.- **Revenue and Expense Tracking:** Implementing systems to accurately track all revenue streams (room sales, food & beverage, events, etc.) and monitoring operational costs and expenses will be part of your responsibilities.- **Tax and Regulatory Compliance:** You will ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations (e.g., sales taxes, occupancy taxes, income taxes) and prepare and file tax returns accurately and on time.- **Internal Controls and Auditing:** Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard hotel assets, minimize financial risks, and coordinating with internal and external auditors during the audit process is a crucial aspect of your role.- **Financial Analysis and Decision Support:** Providing management with insightful financial analysis, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like Occupancy Rate, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room), and data-driven recommendations for cost reduction and profit maximization will be expected from you.- **Inventory Management Support:** You will assist with monthly audits of physical inventory (e.g., food, beverages, supplies) to ensure accurate records and cost control.Additionally, if you are interested in this opportunity in the Hotel & Resort sector and have the required experience and knowledge of Tally & IDS software, please contact us urgently.
