Job Description

    As a CodeIgniter Developer at TestGrid, your role will involve developing and maintaining the backend modules of TestGrid using the CodeIgniter framework. You will be responsible for optimizing application performance and scalability for high-load environments. Your collaboration with frontend developers to integrate APIs and backend services seamlessly is crucial. Additionally, you will work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and robust test coverage. Writing clean, reusable, and well-documented code will be essential to enhance maintainability. Identifying and resolving bugs or performance bottlenecks effectively is part of your responsibilities. You will also contribute to product roadmap discussions while providing valuable technical insights.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain backend modules using the CodeIgniter framework- Optimize application performance and scalability for high-load environments- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs and backend services seamlessly- Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployments and robust test coverage- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code- Identify and resolve bugs or performance bottlenecks effectively- Contribute to product roadmap discussions while providing valuable technical insightsQualifications Required:- 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience with PHP and the CodeIgniter framework- Strong understanding of MySQL, database design, and query optimization- Experience in RESTful API development and integration- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git- Knowledge of MVC architecture and secure coding practices- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work collaboratively in an agile development environmentIn addition to the qualifications, a bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
