Job Description

Role Overview:As a Web Developer, your main responsibility will be to develop, test, and deploy web applications using the PHP CodeIgniter framework. You will also be tasked with integrating databases into web applications, collaborating with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements, creating and consuming APIs, optimizing code for performance, implementing security measures, and ensuring efficient API performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues, bugs, and errors, collaborating with team members, and maintaining technical documentation.Key Responsibilities:- Develop, test, and deploy web applications using the PHP CodeIgniter framework- Integrate databases into web applications efficiently- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements- Create and consume APIs for data exchange between systems- Optimize code for better performance and coding standards- Implement security measures to protect web applications- Optimize API performance for speed and efficiency- Identify and resolve technical issues, bugs, and errors in a timely manner- Work closely with designers, developers, and project managers- Create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and other project aspectsQualifications Required:- Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in PHP development using the CodeIgniter framework- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5- Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming- Previous experience in creating scalable and complex applications- Knowledge of user authentication, authorization, and RestFull API Development- Good knowledge of Google Sheets APIs and Google Analytics- Experienced with code versioning tools like GitLab, GitHub, and Bitbucket- Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL and MongoDB- Strong problem-solving skills- Excellent project planning and collaboration skills.
