Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing and managing multidiscipline engineering activities related to Mechanical Equipment, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Piping, and Process Engineering. Your role will involve planning, initiating, executing, and monitoring engineering projects with respect to time, cost, and quality. This includes technical and techno-commercial coordination with all stakeholders. You will be required to perform design reviews, 3D model reviews, HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and other various studies during the project detail engineering phase.Key Responsibilities:- Establish new procedures and modify existing procedures to make them more cost-effective and technically efficient.- Provide engineering and reliability technical assistance for rotating equipment, fixed equipment, piping systems, instrumentation, safety shutdown systems, and electrical power distribution systems.- Oversee the organizations manufacturing processes and procedures, ensuring optimum use of resources, equipment, materials, and facilities.- Review CAPEX, OPEX, and other stage gate documents for top management approval.- Execute basic design of critical and non-critical piping systems, conduct detailed design and study of piping systems as per codes and standards, and finalize layouts and technical specifications for project implementation.- Forecast project engineering progress, establish procedures for project status visibility, and support team in risk assessment, mitigation planning, health, safety, and environmental programs.- Manage change orders, concession requests, scopes, and organize meetings with top-level management and project controls.- Ensure effective communication and conflict resolution among various stakeholders, present project engineering status and MIS to management.Qualifications:- B. Tech / B.E in Chemical/ Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institute/ university. A masters degree in the same field is preferred.- Minimum 25 years of work experience with at least 5 years in a similar role in a large/mid-sized organization.- Experience in safety studies like HAZOP, HAZAN, SIL verification, and handling large petrochemical projects related to engineering, piping, and process activities.- Hands-on experience in project reporting, analysis, cost control, and change management.- Sound knowledge of engineering management, procurement, construction, and operation of a petrochemical plant.- Exposure to project engineering planning and execution with an understanding of product manufacturing processes.Please note that Adani does not charge any fee at any stage of the recruitment process.
