Job Description

    Surat | Senior level | 4 Year ExperiencedXSQUADS is looking for a skilled 3D Environment/Map Designer to craft stunning, high-quality game environments for our projects.Job Responsibilities Design and create realistic and visually compelling 3D environments and maps for multiplayer gameplay. Develop terrain, buildings, landscapes, and interactive objects while ensuring optimal performance. Work with the game design team to create balanced, strategic, and engaging map layouts. Implement lighting, textures, and materials to enhance environmental aesthetics. Optimize assets for performance and efficiency in real-time game engines. Utilize AI-powered tools and procedural generation techniques to speed up world-building. Ensure seamless integration of 3D environments with gameplay mechanics. Stay updated with industry trends to improve map design techniques.Requirements Proven experience as a 3D Environment Artist or Level Designer in the gaming industry. Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or ZBrush. Strong understanding of game engine environments, especially Unity 3D or Unreal Engine. Experience with terrain sculpting, world-building, and asset placement. Knowledge of lighting, shading, and material creation for realistic environments. Familiarity with AI-assisted design tools for environment creation and optimization. Ability to optimize 3D assets for real-time performance. Strong sense of level design, composition, and storytelling through environments.Preferred Skills Experience in creating large-scale open-world maps. Understanding of procedural generation techniques for environment design. Ability to work with physics-based rendering (PBR) workflows. Experience with map balancing and gameplay flow analysis.
