Job Description

    As a Marketing Manager for Trade Generics, you will be responsible for setting up the overall marketing and product management strategy for the trade generics business from scratch. Your focus will be on a Direct-to-retail model of sales. You will work closely with the senior advisor and state sales manager to build brand awareness, develop marketing strategies, and promote the products. Initially, you will report to the promoter and later to the BU head.To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelors or MBA degree with at least 5 years of marketing experience in the trade generics division of a pharmaceutical company. Previous roles as a Marketing Manager or Marketing Executive in a pharmaceutical company are preferred. Experience in leading marketing efforts for a new pharma company or division, specifically focused on Trade Generics, will be advantageous.Your responsibilities will include guiding product branding, conducting competitor benchmarking to create differentiation for clients, and managing the marketing budget to maximize ROI. You will also be responsible for ensuring all marketing activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations.Additionally, you will design and develop marketing collaterals for the sales team, lead trade activation programs such as trade fairs and product demonstrations, and engage with chemists to boost sales. You will manage promotional programs for initial market penetration and eventual expansion.Collaborating with the sales team, you will drive initial market penetration, gather feedback to refine strategies, and create playbooks based on pilot learnings.
