Job Description

    You are an experienced transport operations manager with a deep understanding of the transport business and a large network of suppliers. You are not only unafraid to be hands-on and work from the field but also tech-savvy to operate the latest transport management software from your desk.NVS Travel Solutions is an 18-year-old firm that provides mobility services pan India. In 2023, NVS has scaled to an owned fleet size of 1000 vehicles and also has its own in-house tech team, which has been building software solutions for the transport industry for the last 5 years, making the future of this firm bright and greener.**Key Responsibility Areas (KRAs):**- Ensuring Transport Services delivery quality, standards & processes.- Ensuring the right staff are hired at all levels with no disruption to service delivery or compromises on set salary & spare utilization budgets.- Ensure all vehicles are in good condition, compliant, and the required maintenance activities are efficiently managed.- Customer Retention and account expansion - KAM.- Service pricing & P&L of Large accounts.**Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):**- Total revenue and Profitability.- SLA & process adherence.- Performance on regular QC/audits.- NPS surveys.In your role, you will interact and engage with client-side stakeholders to understand expectations, collect feedback, build relationships, and grow the transaction volume. You will strengthen Ground teams by being hands-on with sourcing and recruiting activities. Additionally, you will design, build, and operate MIS for the operations, including regular data tracking and audits of regulatory compliance, supplier performance, and other KPIs. You will manage the entire end-to-end life cycle of all transport service requirements, develop and implement transportation policies and procedures, analyze transportation data to identify areas for improvement, resolve transportation-related issues and complaints, stay up-to-date on industry trends and regulations, and network with peers to generate new business opportunities.**Pre-Requisites (Interview Criterion):**- 4 yrs Experience working with schools to manage school bus service in Surat.- Network of supervisors and drivers in Surat.- Confident in routing and route planning for all areas of Surat.- Familiar with maintenance and driver team management.You need to have an extreme ownership attitude with an ability to inspire your team and lead by example.**Why join this role **The Transport service provided is of a premium cadre, serving top clients.
