Job Description

    You should have strong expertise in SQL Server clustering and Always On Availability Groups along with advanced knowledge of transaction replication and troubleshooting. Proficiency in performance tuning for OLTP systems, including query optimization and index management is essential. It is crucial to have an in-depth understanding of performance counters and their interpretation to maintain server health. You should be able to diagnose and resolve performance issues in a high-pressure environment and have experience with monitoring and automation tools for database health and efficiency.In addition to the technical skills, as the selected candidate, you will be expected to work flexible hours aligning with US PST and maintain flexible availability. Participation in daily stand-ups to keep up with the teams progress and tasks is required. You will also need to attend relevant calls with other teams, participate in triage calls independently for troubleshooting and resolving issues, and handle after-hours support and maintenance tasks as needed.Your responsibilities will include managing releases and after-hours CAB tickets, with one DBA covering night and weekend shifts. Monthly OS patching validations and managing failovers will be your responsibility. Handling any new projects that may arise will also be part of your role.The working hours for this position are from 10 PM to 7 AM IST.,
