Job Description

    You will be joining GrowiT India, the agricultural arm of Alpha Plastomers Private Limited, as a Senior Accountant in Surat. Your role will involve managing end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with statutory regulations, and mentoring junior staff. Strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with accounting software, and the ability to lead and collaborate across teams are essential for this position.**Responsibilities:**- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, MIS reports, and management dashboards.- Ensure compliance with Ind AS / GAAP, GST, TDS, and other statutory requirements.- Manage GST, TDS, and other tax filings, and coordinate with tax advisors.- Supervise and mentor junior accountants; review work and provide technical guidance.- Handle fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and reconciliations.- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.- Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely closure of audits.- Strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and processes.- Liaise with banks, vendors, consultants, and tax authorities on financial matters.- Support Finance Manager / Head of Finance on strategic initiatives and special projects.**Qualifications:**- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.- CA Inter / Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant / M.Com or equivalent.- 34 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, with at least 2 years in a senior role.- Strong exposure to statutory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and audit processes.- Experience in MIS reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis preferred.**Skills:**- Accounting software (Tally Prime, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)- Advanced Excel skills- Financial reporting and analysis- Account reconciliation- Regulatory compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax)- Team supervision and mentoring- Attention to detail and accuracy- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsThis is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.,
