In this role you will lead and direct multiple consulting teams to deliver data warehouse and BI solutions utilizing the Microsoft BI platform. Perform Performance tuning, maintenance, analysis of existing data warehouse and business intelligence implementations ( involving SQL Server 2000/ 05/ 08 tools) . Communicate with technical and business staff in technical and plain English language, Document of all work carried out ( e. g. data models, configurations, and setup) ; perform occasional business analysis. You will assist in preparation of project proposals, attend client and vendor meetings and provide input into the Scalability Experts best practice for BI projects. Educational Qualification and Experience Deep experience as a SQL Server 2005/ 08/ 08r2 BI developer Architect level experience in team environment with mid to high-end projects from inception through delivery with competency in most of the following areas Logical and physical database design experience Strong knowledge of hardware performance tuning in support of RLDW, OLAP, ETL. Strong knowledge of HA/ DR implementation of BI infrastructure across multiple data centers using SQL Server 2005/ 2008/ 2008r2 and hardware technologies. Strong knowledge of HP, Dell, and/ or Unisys hardware architecture for X64 and SAN storage. Strong knowledge of SAN configuration at disk and LUN level for DB data files and transaction level performance tuning. SQL Server 2005/ 08/ 08r2 RDBMS database development including T-SQL programming SQL Server 2005/ 08/ 08r2 OLAP database development including MDX programming ETL implementation using SQL Server Integration Services ( SSIS) BI presentation delivery utilizing SQL Server Analysis Services ( SSAS) , SQL Server Reporting Services ( SSRS) PerformancePoint, PowerPivot or other non-Microsoft BI tools Deep knowledge of/ experience in the Kimball DW/ BI Design & Implementation Methodologies or Deep knowledge of/ experience in the Inmon DW/ BI Design & Implementation Methodologies Deep Data modeling based on business requirements, and optimization of data models for business intelligence implementations Migration of existing data warehouse and business intelligence from other BI platforms or earlier versions of the MS Platform Client facing and thinking strategically from clientrsquos perspective to deploy correct solutions Strong knowledge of PerformancePoint In-depth Monitoring and Analytics Development of Dashboards, Scorecards, Charts, integration of charting and pivot tables, SSRS integration BI capabilities of Office 2007/ 2010 SharePoint 2007/ 2010 PerformancePoint integration and deployment Report Services integration and deployment PowerPivot integration and deployment Excel Services integration and deployment Desired Qualifications and Experience Relevant Microsoft, Oracle, SAP ( Business Objects) , IBM Certifications Required Competencies Ability and willingness to learn new technologies Good customer-facing skills Good listening, communication and documentation skills Team player Self motivated with a ldquocan-dordquo attitude Flexibility and the ability to multi-task and prioritize Eye for detail and quality Global mobility Sociable,
