Job Description

Hello,We have an Urgent Opening as Sr. Design Engineer - Mechanical at Bhiwandi.Location: BhiwandiCompany Details:Established in 1965 extended its manufacturing portfolio into the railway sector, designing, producing and selling rolling stock maintenance equipment worldwideJob Description

  • Collaborate with team regarding electro mechanical, Hydraulic and mechanical design concepts
  • Lead functional testing and documentation
  • Provide technical support during assembly and installation of equipment
  • Design of Products related to Railway industry, Civil Drawing, Client GA, Site Mark-up Document
  • Produce standard designs using CAD software and 3D models of Engineered Products, including overall layout, General arrangement, Assembly and Fabrication Drawings for each project.
  • Design Calculation using MS-Excel and Validation through FEA
  • Support from concept to production, Total Product life cycle approach
  • Modify designs to correct operating and production issues
  • Component selection and sourcing to meet the design requirements and Identify sources
  • Meet with suppliers, clients and project stakeholders to review designs and alter as needed
  • Take direction from Team Lead / Manager to perform
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers to address technical decision, coordinate work and execute product development plan
Job Skills & Qualifications Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical engineering
  • Five to Seven years of experience in an Mechanical, Hydraulic design & drafting
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in 3D CAD systems like Solid works, AutoCAD, and FEA
  • Knowledge of PLM/PDM software like ePDM/SmarTeam/Windchill
  • Effective documentation, presentation and composition skills
  • Investigative mind inclined toward developing practical solutions to real-world problems
  • Knowledge on GD&T, Design For x (DFx)
  • Detail oriented, thorough, independent thinking, self-motivated
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects and manage priorities accordingly
