Job Title Risk Assurance - Senior Professional Position Overview: The Risk Assurance Senior Professional is an individual contributor Risk Officer Role. This role manages and advises on risks for LOB s across Fiserv. The Risk Officer aggregates and analyzes risks across all enterprise functions including but not limited to strategic, reputational and operational risk for each respective LOB. Risk Officer Job Responsibilities:
• Identify, monitor and articulate top risks, business concerns and critical processes.
• Facilitate the planning and execution of Location-Based Risk Assessments for Fiserv globally (as required).
• Develop trend analyses and models in partnership with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Controls and Issue Management organization to support strategic business decisions while preventing, mitigating and controlling risks within Fiserv s risk appetite.
• Active engagement and monitoring in business strategy and objectives through proactive risk management and engagement with other risk domains (e.g. new product, acquisitions/disposals).
• Project oversight/risk consultation.
• Provide information to the Enterprise Risk Management program on risk identification, tolerance and metrics.
• Lead execution of risk assessments and scenario analysis on LOB utilizing ERM tools.
• Ensure timely closure of audit issues impacting the relevant LOB.
Essential Job Responsibilities: Drives timely completion of ERC assignments / initiatives. Possess and apply comprehensive risk knowledge to the completion of complex assignments. Responsibilities and impact may crossover to other job groups and functions. Work under general supervision to plan, conduct and establish a functional vision for assignments. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Ability to effectively communicate the work required at each step of the process. Provide support to business units to assess and mitigate risk to acceptable level and recommend follow-up action or facilitate risk acceptance with the appropriate stakeholders. Possesses the ability to effectively communicate successes and failures of a model, processes and procedures with clear understanding of critical success. Identifies and recommends changes in risk procedures and processes. Proactively mitigates and/or manages risk utilizing Fiserv risk frameworks. Able to gather information and document requirements clearly and concisely. Keeps abreast of new developments in order to define the necessary changes to policy and practice. Able to embrace complexity and ambiguity, looking at situations from a wide range of perspectives. Stays current on Fiserv product and services. Candidate Qualifications: Bachelors degree, with emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Management, Information Technology, or general business or equivalent field 4-10 years of risk management or industry experience (internal audit, internal controls, risk management, compliance management, regulatory agency, law firm, accounting, technology, or operations). Exposure in developing or being nominated as a lead in the business continuity arrangements for the team will be a positive. Organized, influential, strong client service attitude, and demonstrated success as a leader within a highly complex business. Self-motivated, adaptable, strong work ethic, and demonstrated team player. Analytical, critical thinking, project management, interpersonal, and communication (written, oral, and listening) skills. Financial services experience, including working in highly regulated global environments. General understanding of global laws, regulations and standards governing technology and financial services industries. Technology acumen and aptitude. Personal Attributes/Qualities: Leads by example with honesty and integrity. Follows through on commitments and takes accountability for achieving timely results. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Desire to continually improve the ERC team through feedback and training. Detail oriented to provide reliable and consistent results and also able to summarize information into an appropriate level for senior leaders.
