    Solar Energy Technician job descriptionJob brief Responsibilities RequirementsJob briefWe are seeking a Solar Energy Technician to troubleshoot, repair, assess solar systems, and collaborate with clients and internal teams at on site locations.ResponsibilitiesPerform varying corrective, preventive, and emergency maintenance for solar PV systems.Interact with customers on a professional level as part of a multi-tasking team.Perform on site installations, repairs, and troubleshooting.Check and provide complete documentation to clients.Carry out site root analysis.Attend the conference and B2B meetings to assess new solar system technologies as part of a team.Apply root cause analysis techniques on all major and recurring faults.Investigate technical failures and prepare formal technical reports.Record keeping and management of spare part movements.Requirements2 years of solar technical experienceDegree in the engineering fieldAbility to work on rooftops and heightsAbility to lift and move objects up to 35 kgsWilling to travel regularly including at nightsWorking knowledge of power system protectionAble to read and interpret single line diagrams and schematicsDemonstrated experience in the maintenance of LV and 33Kv cable, DC cable systemsincluding fault location and diagnostics is an advantageCable jointing qualifications and experience is an advantageTips: Provide a summary of the role, what success in the position looks like, and how this role fits into the organization overall.Responsibilities[Be specific when describing each of the responsibilities.
