Job Description

    As a seasoned Business Development Head at Jai Ganesh Ispat, your primary objective is to drive the growth and expansion of operations in Sri City, scaling from 2,500 MT/month to 20,000 MT/month. You will be responsible for defining and executing a strategic roadmap to expand the companys presence across various sectors such as Auto, Consumer Appliance, Solar, Panel manufacturers, Lift and Escalators, Switch Gear Manufacturers, Infrastructure, and OEM segments. Your role will involve conducting detailed market mapping and segmentation for South India, particularly focusing on Chennai, Andhra, and Tamil Nadu industrial belts. You will need to build a strong sales pipeline, hunt for new accounts, and aggressively pursue business opportunities across sectors. Conducting a SWOT analysis of competitors, mapping trends, and leveraging market intelligence will be crucial for gaining a competitive advantage. Additionally, identifying emerging opportunities and converting them into long-term contracts and job work partnerships will be part of your responsibilities.Your role will also require deep understanding of GP/CRCA/Galvanised & Colour Coated Products and their applications in Auto & Appliance industries. Translating customer requirements into operational deliverables, collaborating with plant teams and suppliers, and optimizing processes for cost efficiency and waste reduction will be essential. You will also be responsible for end-to-end coordination with suppliers for material procurement, collaborating with internal departments to ensure timely deliveries and maintaining service excellence.Building lasting partnerships with OEM customers, project contractors, and B2B clients, understanding their needs, and aligning internal capabilities to meet or exceed their expectations will be critical. As a leader, you will be expected to build and lead a high-energy regional sales and operations team, fostering ownership, discipline, and a performance-driven culture. Coaching and mentoring team members on sales strategies, customer handling, and product knowledge will also be part of your role.To succeed in this role, you must have at least 10 years of experience in the Steel Processing/Coated Coil Industry/Auto or Appliance Sector in a techno-commercial or BD leadership role. Strong analytical mindset, decision-making abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and locations are essential.
