Job Description

    As the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at our company, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all engineering and maintenance operations to ensure the safety, security, and protection of our assets. You will be in charge of managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation efforts. Additionally, you will lead the emergency response team for any facility-related issues.**Key Responsibilities:**- Supervise the Engineering department in the absence of the Director of Engineering.- Manage the physical plant, including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, electrical, and life safety systems.- Maintain and operate equipment for optimal effectiveness, efficiency, and safety.- Establish and implement a comprehensive rooms maintenance program.- Ensure compliance with all Engineering departmental policies, standards, and procedures.- Manage departmental expenses to meet or exceed budgeted goals.- Select and procure new equipment, supplies, and furnishings.- Inspect facilities to determine necessary maintenance work and coordinate additional services like repairs, renovations, and replacements.- Supervise day-to-day engineering operations.- Maintain accurate logs and records as needed.- Assist in planning, scheduling, and evaluating preventative maintenance programs.**Qualifications Required:**- High school diploma or GED with 4 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field, along with technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.- OR a 2-year degree in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or a related major from an accredited university, with 2 years of experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field, and technical training in HVAC-R, electrical, and plumbing.At our company, we are committed to providing equal opportunities for all individuals and celebrating the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our associates.
