You will be responsible for analyzing and resolving issues reported by the validation team. Additionally, you will need to effectively collaborate with teams across various geographies to deliver timely solutions to reported problems.Mandatory Skills:- In-depth understanding of Android architecture and Android HAL Layer- Minimum 5 years of experience in Android development- Over 10 years of experience in the Embedded domain- Familiarity with Automotive SoC architecture including application processor and Vehicle processor- Proficiency in Android code base such as Application layer (Java/Kotlin), JNI, and Native frameworks- Sound knowledge of the Android programming environment utilizing Binders, IPC mechanisms- Experience in Android Services/Framework layer and its debugging- Proficient in programming, preferably in Java and Kotlin- Strong debugging skills to troubleshoot issues across various layers of Android- Proficiency in Android source build system and Android debugging toolsGood to have:- Experience in C- Application development for Android Infotainment systems covering areas like Navigation, Connectivity (WiFi, BT), and Projection (Android Auto, Carplay)- Familiarity with tools like GIT, JIRA- Experience in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as QNX- Understanding of Vehicle Interface and knowledge of Infotainment systemsIn this role, you will be instrumental in understanding product/software requirements and designing appropriate solutions to meet them. Your responsibilities will include developing software solutions, analyzing system issues, facilitating root cause analysis, and identifying opportunities to enhance system performance. You will also collaborate with project managers and functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.Furthermore, you will be involved in coding, ensuring optimal software/module development, and automating processes for software validation. Your role will also require you to prepare comprehensive documentation, reports, and status updates related to programming projects. Additionally, you will be responsible for status reporting, maintaining customer focus, and participating in ongoing education and training to stay updated on industry best practices.The key performance parameters for this role include continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring of software, ensuring high quality and customer satisfaction, and timely generation of MIS and reports.
