Job Description

As a Slitting Operator at our new plant in Ganapatpura near Karjan, your role involves operating slitting machines according to standard procedures, setting up machines for production runs, monitoring operations to ensure quality output, conducting quality checks, maintaining a clean workspace, collaborating with team members, adhering to safety protocols, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and assisting in training new staff. Additionally, you will participate in machine maintenance, support inventory management, conduct final product inspections, stay updated with industry best practices, and contribute ideas for process improvements.Key Responsibilities:- Operate slitting machines following standard procedures- Set up machines for production runs based on specifications- Monitor operations and adjust parameters for quality output- Perform quality checks on output to meet specifications- Maintain a clean and organized workspace- Collaborate with team members to optimize production cycles- Adhere to safety protocols and company standards- Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with equipment- Assist in training new staff on machine operation and safety procedures- Participate in regular maintenance of the machines- Support inventory management by reporting raw material needs- Conduct final inspections of finished products- Stay updated with industry best practices and innovations- Contribute ideas for process improvements and workflow efficienciesQualifications Required:- 10th pass or equivalent- Strong interest in manufacturing and machine operation- Willingness to work on-site in a fast-paced environment- Basic mechanical skills and understanding of manufacturing processes- Ability to read and interpret technical documents- Good communication and teamwork abilities- Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness- Basic math skills for measurement and calculations- Able to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods- Positive attitude and willingness to learn- Ability to work flexible hours if needed- Experience with manufacturing equipment is a plus but not required- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement- Capability to follow directions and work independentlyNote: Additional details about the company were not provided in the job description.,
