Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Assistant Store & Design Manager at The White Teak Company, you will be responsible for creating a positive shopping experience for customers by welcoming them, demonstrating product features, addressing complaints, and maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions. Your goal will be to achieve stipulated sales goals, maintain a customer database, and ensure a clean and organized store appearance.Key Responsibilities:- Welcome customers and create a positive shopping experience- Read product manuals and attend training workshops to maintain in-depth understanding of offerings- Demonstrate product features, benefits, and provide information on pricing, delivery options, and warranties- Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner- Track and engage in follow-up conversations about products as needed- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and competitions- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new products- Strive to provide top-notch customer service in each instance- Achieve stipulated sales goals on time- Build relationships with customers and maintain a customer database- Maintain a clean and organized store appearanceQualifications Required:- Prior experience in retail in-house sales - Minimum 5 years for Assistant Store & Design Manager and 1 year for Executive- Computer literate, including proficiency in using point-of-sale systems, inventory management systems, and other software programs- Product and industry knowledge- Ability to describe product features in simple or technical terms based on clients existing knowledge- Team player with exceptional communication skills in English, both verbal and written- Ability to listen to customers needs and help them find the right decorative lights for their homes- Confident, assertive, and honest approach to communication- Outstanding improvisation, negotiation, and persuasion abilities- Attuned to subtleties in human interactionsPlease note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted, and immediate joiners are preferred.
