Job Description

    As an EHV Substation Engineer at L&T Energy-CarbonLite Solutions in Vadodara, your role involves working as a Civil & Structural Engineer with Substation design experience. Your main responsibilities will include:- Hands-on design experience in working with 220kV and above AIS/GIS Substations design engineering- Designing Transformer foundations such as Isolated/Raft foundation, Pile foundation using Excel and FEM, Staad- Designing fire walls, Soak pit, Burnt oil pit- Designing Gantry towers- Designing RCC structures (MCR) and Steel structures- Reviewing Fabrication drawings- Designing base plates & bolts- Designing lightning masts- Designing Cable trenches, roads, and storm water drainage- Understanding electrical equipment loadings and plant layout- Reviewing Geotechnical investigation reportsYou should have proficiency in software like Staad Pro connect edition, Excel, and AutoCAD. Additionally, you are required to have knowledge of various IS Standards such as:- IS 875 part 1, 2, and 3 (DL, LL Wind load)- IS 1890 (seismic code)- IEC 60865/electrical requirement (SCF loading)/CEA guideline- IS 806 (For pipe section properties)- IS 1161 (For Pipe sections design)- IS-800:2007 (Steel design)- IS 802(Part1/Sec2) - structural steel in overhead transmission line towers code of practice - part 1 Materials, loads and design strengths - section 2 Design strengths- IS 456 (RCC Design)- IRC SP 40, 52 (Drainage design)Your minimum qualification should be B.Tech/B.E in Civil Engineering. It is expected that you have a minimum of 3-10 years of relevant experience in this field to be successful in this role.,
