Job Description

    As a Design Engineer at Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited, your primary responsibility will be to oversee all design-related activities for ongoing and upcoming projects. You will need to ensure efficient management of time, cost, and scope, adhering to the project specifications and standards. Your role will involve collaborating with project consultants and the engineering team to design plant electrical equipment, substations, and other related components. Additionally, you will be responsible for finalizing project specifications, monitoring engineering deliverables, and ensuring the implementation of best design practices.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with project consultants and engineering team for designing plant electrical equipment and substations- Finalize project specifications for electrical equipment, switchgears, and cables based on the latest design standards- Monitor and track engineering deliverables for the project- Ensure adherence to project design best practices- Provide project design consultancy based on the Basic Engineering Package- Prepare and review Material Take Off (MTO) list and Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for procurement activities- Review equipment manufacturing drawings and GA drawings- Lead project development from inception, including conducting meetings with users to determine their needs- Conduct project review meetings, identify issues, and plan necessary actions- Support the selection of design consultants and assist the construction team with on-field engineering issues- Prepare and review As-Built drawings for the projectQualifications Required:- Educational Qualification: B. Tech (Electrical)- Minimum 2 to 6 years of experience in Chemical/Petrochemical/Refinery project designing and vendor development for project consultancy/design- Proficiency in AutoCAD for preparing and studying design documents- Strong communication and coordination skills across different functions- Willingness to travel within India and abroadAdditionally, you should possess a meticulous approach to documentation, the ability to coordinate activities within set timelines, and a sound understanding of project design requirements and specifications.Please note that the company is Gujarat Fluorochemicals Limited.,
