Job Description

    You will be joining Atlas Transformers India Ltd. as a Design Manager in the Transformer Industry. Your main responsibility will be to lead and manage the design department, ensuring the creation of high-quality and efficient transformer designs that meet customer specifications, regulatory standards, and company objectives. You will work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to deliver innovative solutions for transformer products.Your key responsibilities will include overseeing a team of design engineers and drafters, leading the development and refinement of electrical and mechanical designs for various types of transformers, working cross-functionally with other teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness, managing multiple design projects simultaneously, interfacing with customers to understand their requirements, ensuring designs adhere to industry standards and safety guidelines, identifying opportunities for design improvements and cost reduction, maintaining detailed design documentation, driving innovative design practices, and providing training to junior engineers and design staff.To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, with a specialization in power systems or transformer design preferred. You should have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in transformer design, including at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
