Job Description

    We are looking for an experienced and motivated IT Support Specialist to become a part of our team in Vadodara. In this role, you will be responsible for providing first and second-line technical support to end users, addressing hardware, software, and network issues across local and global operations. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional problem-solving skills, a collaborative approach, and hands-on experience in managing IT infrastructure within a fast-paced setting.As an IT Support Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include handling incoming tickets from users, providing support globally based on priority and availability, and assisting in resolving various IT-related issues. You will also be expected to respond to and manage IT requests, troubleshoot Windows OS and Office365, escalate complex problems to the relevant business unit IT teams, and document solutions for future reference.Additionally, you will play a crucial role in mentoring junior help desk staff, assisting in system onboarding/offboarding tasks, and monitoring network performance. Your duties will involve providing basic to intermediate troubleshooting for LAN/WAN issues, supporting network devices configuration, maintaining Wi-Fi access and VPN connectivity for end users, and collaborating with global IT infrastructure teams for implementing network-related changes or upgrades.To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with at least 2 years of relevant experience in IT support, preferably in a global or enterprise environment. Proficiency in IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, network protocols, and basic network diagnostic tools is required. You should also demonstrate the ability to manage multiple support issues efficiently, willingness to learn new technologies, and experience in supporting Windows OS and Microsoft Office365 environments.Furthermore, knowledge of IT security concepts, certifications such as CompTIA Network or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, and familiarity with remote support tools like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, or MS Remote Desktop will be advantageous. Strong customer service orientation, proactive mindset, and effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are essential for this role. Additionally, the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed global team is highly valued in our organization.,
