Job Description

    Purpose Of The RoleTo carryout analysis of process, product, and other samples by using standard and other test methods as per product specification/ sample schedule/ supervisor instructions, in order to perform & ensure validity of calibration, verifications, standardisation, and quality control data & update results in LIMS while adhering to safe work practices & guidelinesKey Responsibilities And Accountabilities Of The RolePolicies, Procedure and Process AdherenceAdhere to standard test methods or work instructions and compliance to Quality system proceduresFollow applicable HSEF procedures/ practices with awareness about environmental statutory regulationsKeep self abreast with leading practices & trends and contribute to the identification of continuous improvement of systems, processes and procedures.Undertake / participate in trainings to enhance competencies and knowledgeQuality Assurance OperationsConduct inspection of received routine samples and distribution of samples as per type of analysis to the different sections of the laboratory.Raise concerns with shift in charge in case of abnormal samples or delay of routine sample delivery as per scheduleConduct required tests and confirm test results by using validation techniques prior to reporting to ensure test result reliability.Report deviations in test results to concerned stakeholdersPerform on-spot mitigation in emergency situation under the guidance of the shift in charge.Conduct effective sample management and disposal of left over samplesMaintain good housekeeping and availability of analytical gears for next experimentsMake proper entries of results recording in the raw data book / LIMS / process register / and also maintain the same in the individual raw data bookEducation QualificationsBachelors Degree in Science with specialization in Chemistry (preferred)/ Masters Degree in Science with specialization in Chemistry (preferred)ExperienceMust have: 2 years of experience in QA/QC disciplineGood to have: Experience in similar filed will be preferredFunctional / Behavioral Competencies Required To Execute The RoleKnowledge of the test procedure and results reportingKnowledge of sample handlingKnowledge of process stream samplesProduct classification and certificationMethod development and validationComplaint handling & feedback analysisLIMS & SAP-QM,
