Job Description

    The safety officer plays a crucial role in ensuring a safe and secure work environment for all employees. Your responsibilities will include compiling safety programs, practicing safe working techniques, and implementing and maintaining health and safety standards. It is essential to establish a cordial and professional relationship with employees while maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Conducting regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques and standardizing health and safety procedures are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying hazardous waste, disposing of it correctly, and promoting safety initiatives. Compiling and maintaining relevant registers to ensure compliance and conducting regular equipment inspections are also part of your duties.To be successful in this position, you should have a BE. or diploma in Safety Management (Civil Structure Work) and hold valid competency certificates. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is required.
