Job Description

    The role of Senior Engineer - Mechanical Design at Matrix in Vadodara, Gujarat involves leading the execution of mechanical design and development tasks in a project while mentoring other team members. As a Senior Engineer, you will define the scope of work, mentor the team for timely and quality execution, and utilize your design skills and technical expertise to solve problems and achieve objectives. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire product lifecycle from ideation to deployment, allowing you to experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with solving real-world problems and serving numerous customers.To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 4 years of experience and hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution or university. Essential technical skills include practical experience in full new product development cycles, expertise in developing engineering design concepts for components and electromechanical assemblies, and familiarity with various manufacturing processes such as sheet metal and plastics injection molding. Additionally, you should possess knowledge of pressure die-casting processes, design tools, and methods for plastic components.In your day-to-day activities, you will mentor mechanical engineers, incorporate regulatory standards in engineering projects, collaborate with R&D partners to establish product specifications, and lead cross-functional teams in new product development projects.
