Job Description

    You will be responsible for the following tasks:- Designing and implementing comprehensive test strategies, plans, and test cases to validate software functionality, performance, security, and usability.- Leading the execution of manual and automated testing activities across different stages of the software development lifecycle.- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, and product owners to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met.- Analyzing and triaging defects, providing detailed reports, and working with development teams to resolve issues.- Continuously improving and optimizing the testing process, exploring new testing tools and techniques, and driving the adoption of best practices within the QA team.- Mentoring and guiding junior QA team members, fostering their professional growth, and ensuring adherence to testing standards.- Participating in risk assessments, quality reviews, and process improvement initiatives.- Monitoring and reporting on key quality metrics, test coverage, and project progress to stakeholders.- Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and testing methodologies to continuously enhance testing capabilities.Qualifications required for this role:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.- Minimum of 6 years of experience in software testing or at least 3 years in a senior QA role with Banking or Fintech product.- Extensive knowledge of software testing methodologies, including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.- Proficiency in at least one testing tool and framework such as Selenium, Appium, JMeter, and other automated testing tools.- Experience with test management tools like Jira.- Strong understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies and their integration with testing practices.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.- Strong leadership, mentoring, and team collaboration skills.Preferred qualifications include:- Experience in testing web, mobile, and cloud-based applications.- Knowledge of performance testing, load testing, and security testing techniques.- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.- Experience with test data management and test environment setup.- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.,
