Job Description

    As a skilled and detail-oriented Slitting Operator, your role will involve operating slitting machines to cut rolls of material into narrower rolls. Your hands-on experience with slitting equipment, focus on quality and safety, and efficiency in meeting production goals will be crucial for success.Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate slitting machines according to production specifications.- Load and unload rolls of raw materials and finished goods.- Adjust machine settings for speed, tension, and cut width based on material type.- Monitor the slitting process to ensure consistent quality and proper dimensions.- Perform quality checks on finished rolls to identify and correct defects.- Label and package finished products according to customer or internal requirements.- Maintain accurate production and quality records.- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of slitting equipment.- Report any machine malfunctions, defects, or safety hazards to supervisors.- Follow all safety and operational procedures.Qualifications Required:- High school diploma or equivalent.- 2 years of experience operating slitting machines or similar equipment.- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.- Ability to read and interpret work orders, measurements, and specifications.- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.- Physically fit, able to lift, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.The job also requires skills in interpreting work orders, mechanical aptitude, quality checks, operating slitting machines, basic understanding of quality control, troubleshooting, and loading/unloading materials.,
