Preparation of Estimates and execution of Navigational Lock structures of Canal in accordance with Drawings & Specifications. Fixing alignments of Main Canal, setting out Curves etc. Concrete Lining of Canal. Construction of Canal Siphon. Preparing bar-bending schedules & providing to contractors for execution. Preparation of Running Account bills of Contractors.Preparation of monthly bills for the project along with reviewing and approving subcontractor bills as per progress of work at site Involved in conducting all Quality Control tests for Soil & Concrete works. Liaison with government bodies for Land Acquisition works for distributaries canal. Involved in Survey of distributaries canal & its associated structures, fixing alignment of canal etc. Leading a team of Junior Engineers in Execution of works as per drawings & specifications. Conducting regular Project Reviews with contractors for timely completion of work.Fixing of Alignment & Marking for Excavation of Main Canal involving multiple rock strata. Preparation of Estimates and execution of CM & CD Works of Canal. Handled drilling & blasting operations in hard rock strata. Execution of Embankment works. Maintaining all Statutory Registers & Records.Project Monitoring & Controlling using Project Management tools viz., MS Project 2010 & Primavera P6 V 8.3. Manage and control the project in line with project and budget plans developed. Pro-actively identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Conduct project reviews to assess outcomes of projects, against established baselines, and to evaluate effectiveness. Organizing cross-functional teams reviews, discuss all critical issues of Projects for mitigation & way forward. Tracking compliance of all statutory requirements within timeframe using online Compliance Manager Portal. Statistical Analysis of Production targets achieved w.r.t planning done over Monthly, Quarterly & Annual basis and identifying reasons for deviation thereby providing a basis for Continuous improvement. Coordinate for progress of Strategic Business Excellence Initiatives undertaken by Management. Preparation of MIS & submission to Top Management on weekly, fortnightly & monthly basis.Review of Projects submitted by various line departments for approval.Prepare Project Proposal note & submit for approval by the Board of Directors,Ensure that the construction is in compliance with the drawing and estimates approved. Assess value of works done and approve bills & vouchers for release of funds to the implementing agency. Prepare Monthly Presentations on Progress of Projects undertaken & submit for review by the client
