NewBeginnings Charitable Trust is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to empowering women and children from vulnerable indigenous rural communities in Andhra Pradesh, India. The organization aligns its mission with the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, targeting primarily SDGs 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, and 13. NewBeginnings works towards eradicating poverty and inequality, aiming to significantly impact the quality of life of marginalized individuals, women, and children. The organization envisions creating positive changes in the lives of vulnerable groups, striving for happier, rights-based, and deeply satisfying lives.As part of NewBeginnings Charitable Trust, you will be contributing to the socio-economic empowerment of women, which is seen as a proven strategy for promoting gender equality and eradicating poverty. The organization is based in Vijayawada, India, and currently comprises a team of ten staff members and around 50 local and international volunteers who support its initiatives throughout the year.In your role as an HR Liaison volunteer, you will play a crucial part in establishing partnerships with Corporate HR teams to promote workplace giving and support NewBeginnings mission. Your responsibilities will include:- Building strong relationships with HR professionals.- Crafting and sharing a compelling narrative about NCTs impact.- Encouraging companies to include NCT in their corporate workplace giving platforms.- Helping employees feel a sense of ownership and pride in supporting NCT.This volunteer opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of the poor and marginalized, believe in the transformative power of education, excel in communication, and enjoy establishing partnerships.
