Senior Software Engineer (AWS DevOps)

As a specialized engineer for a SaaS platform dedicated to webinars and virtual events, you will be a key contributor to a mature, business-critical product that enables real-time and on-demand video delivery. Your role will involve close collaboration with product, support, and operations teams to ensure the systems reliability, security, and performance.**Key Responsibilities:**- Handle complex data and workflow migrations across platform versions and customer integrations within the Migration Pod- Maintain, troubleshoot, and provide support for a mature and complex software product in production, focusing on memory, threading, latency, and service-to-service communication- Develop, debug, and optimize performance-critical components related to video ingest, processing, playback, and distribution- Investigate and resolve bugs, performance issues, and production incidents- Implement high-impact enhancements, bug fixes, and technical improvements while prioritizing automation- Participate in on-call or support rotations as necessary**Qualifications Required:**- 5 years of experience working in C, C#, or .NET in a Windows environment, with a minimum of 2 years focused on low latency video processing and delivery- Expertise in C- Solid knowledge of JavaScript- Experience with Windows, Visual Studio, GCP, and equivalent cloud platforms- Ability to design systems ensuring data consistency, failover, and validation- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills, comfortable with legacy systems and complex data models- Proficiency in documenting complex technical processes for both engineers and operations teams- Familiarity with Azure and AWS, Shaka player, large-scale data migrations, database replication and sync strategies, DevOps, and deployment automationAdditionally, as part of Uplers client requirement, this role offers you the chance to apply for relevant contractual onsite opportunities to advance your career.
