As on today, DEPL has successfully accomplished SITC Projects of Fire Protection Systems for Airports, Hotels, Large Campuses & Commercial Complexes across India.Further, DEPL has ambitious plans to create indelible mark in the fast growing Indian Infrastructure landscape with special focus on Airports and Large Industrial, Commercial & Residential Complexes.As part of its strategic growth plan, DEPL is looking for a Site Engineer - Projects, who will initially join Companys technical team for SITC Project of Fire Protection System at Vijayawada Airport premises.It is a dynamic role with immense growth potential, and upon completion of the current project, the site engineer would be required to work at next project location within India.Job Overview:As a Site Engineer, the incumbent will broadly be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of Fire Protection Systems and other allied services at Companys project sites.The role holder will be involved in ensuring compliance with local regulations, coordinating with client, vendors and other stakeholders like architects/ design consultants, and further ensuring the safety and efficiency of fire protection systems and other allied system that are part of Companys scope of work at respective project sites.Key Responsibilities:Site Project ExecutionEnsuring that the execution at site meets the agreed specifications, budget, and timeline. Ensuring that the contractual requirements at site and the clients expectations are thoroughly met without any compromise and the project is delivered on time.Vendor ManagementCultivate and maintain healthy relationships with key vendors, to further ensure timely delivery of required material and accomplishment of work at site.Site Team ManagementSupervising and tracking performance of the team at site.Optimizing teams productivity to ensure that the key goals are met on time.Making sure that the healthy and safe environment is provided and further establish an engaged community of team at site.Delegating tasks to site team according to their individual skill sets, experience, and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.Stakeholder ManagementLiaising with clients, subcontractors, local authorities, site-level staff, architects/ design consultants, building owners, and regulatory authorities to address any issues related to fire protection systems & allied services provided by the Company and ensure smooth project execution.Installation & TestingEnsuring that all of the equipment and facilities needed at a project site are installed correctly and safely, and that everything works as per the planned schedule.Conducting equipment checks and system tests in the field.Reviewing test results and prepare test reports to confirm compliance with technical specifications.CommissioningEnsuring that the installed systems are technically acceptable to the end user and other stakeholders. Develop a seamless commissioning procedure to meet contractual requirements.Handing OverResponsible for handing-over the project seamlessly. Provide training to site personnel on the operation and maintenance of fire protection systems and other related installed systems at site, and maintain accurate documentation for system designs, installations, inspections, and maintenance activities.Additional Responsibilities:In addition to site-level responsibilities, there are opportunities for growth through involvement in the following activities:BOQ Preparation and InputsUnderstanding technical specifications, drawings and bill of quantities as laid down in a particular requirement shared by the client and match the requirement with the right products/ services. Further, provide technical inputs for any modifications if required.Design InputsAbility to read and understand the details of technical drawings for design accuracy, ensuring that they are followed correctly in execution.Project PlanningMeticulously planning the resources required in terms of men, material, and money. Arriving at a robust budgeting by accommodating any possible deviation during the execution of the project and setting deadlines for different phases of the project.Qualifications:Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical / Electrical EngineeringAdditional Qualification/ Certification in Fire Protection System would be an advantage.Requirements & Skills:Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience.In-depth site-level knowledge/ experience of managing SITC of Fire Protection System projects.Strong communication and analytical skills.Strong people skills.Project management & supervision skills. Languages: Proficiency in English & Hindi is required and knowledge of additional regional languages would be an advantage.,
