Job Description

Warehouse Operations: Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping. Ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on time to meet customer expectations. Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and productivity. Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, including regular cycle counts and stock audits. Ensure accurate tracking of stock levels and minimize stock discrepancies. Work with purchasing and production departments to optimize stock levels and replenish inventory. Staff Management: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management. Create a positive work environment focused on safety, accountability, and teamwork. Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement staff development programs. Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment by implementing health and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, including equipment maintenance and hazard management. Conduct regular safety training and drills for warehouse staff. Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate with transportation providers for efficient inbound and outbound logistics. Ensure timely and cost-effective distribution of products to retail outlets and customers. Work closely with the supply chain and logistics teams to streamline distribution processes. Data Management and Reporting: Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and other software to track inventory, orders, and warehouse metrics. Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, stock levels, and order fulfillment rates.
