Job Description

    The role of Area Sales Manager - Western UP at Mars Wrigley India in Agra is crucial in developing, influencing, and implementing the growth agenda in the area. As an ASM @ MARS, your primary goal is to drive growth opportunities by maximizing market, channel, infrastructure, and people levers.Your responsibilities will include setting, monitoring, and delivering key business and S&D objectives at various levels. You will strategically develop the markets to enhance Physical and Mental availability through an optimal mix of tools. It is essential to establish efficient systems and processes to build a robust Sales Engine in your specific geography. Collaboration with key stakeholders, such as LM, Trade Marketing, sales development, and Marketing, will be vital to align strategies for long-term growth.In the people function aspect, you will lead, monitor, motivate, and drive performance by utilizing selling tools and incentive programs. Coaching the Sales Officers on the Mars Sales & Distribution system to achieve desired productivity levels is a key responsibility. Implementing structured training programs to continuously upskill the Field Sales Associate team is essential. Additionally, recruiting the required number of FSAs within set timelines will be part of your role.On the administrative front, conducting period meetings to assess performance levels across cities, SOs, Distributors, and Brands will be crucial. Managing backend administration tasks like claim submissions, expense statements, and account reconciliations efficiently is necessary. Collaborating with the LM to ensure forecast accuracy and efficient service levels to customers is also a part of your responsibilities.For this position, a Bachelors or MBA degree is preferred. Candidates with a Bachelors degree and 6-8 years of experience (age 25-35) or an MBA with 3-5 years of experience are eligible. Previous experience in the Food industry and a minimum of 3 years as an ASM are preferred qualifications for this role.,
