Job Description

    As an EVS Teacher at Crimson World School in Agra, you will play a crucial role in nurturing curiosity and environmental awareness among students in Grades 3-5. Your primary responsibility will be to design and implement engaging EVS lessons that are in line with the CBSE curriculum. By incorporating hands-on activities and real-world examples, you will facilitate interactive and meaningful learning experiences for the students.Your key responsibilities will include planning and delivering EVS lessons that promote environmental awareness and scientific thinking. Utilizing interactive teaching methods like storytelling, experiments, and projects, you will create a dynamic learning environment. Additionally, you will organize field visits and practical activities to enhance experiential learning and assess student progress through various methods such as assignments, quizzes, and interactive discussions.Encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving skills related to the environment and sustainability will be an integral part of your role. Collaboration with fellow teachers to integrate EVS concepts with other subjects will also be essential. Furthermore, maintaining a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters student curiosity will be key to ensuring a successful learning environment.To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Environmental Science, Life Sciences, or a related field, along with a B.Ed. qualification. A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in CBSE-affiliated schools is required. Strong communication skills, proficiency in interactive teaching methods, the ability to engage students effectively, and a knack for making learning enjoyable and relevant are essential skills for this position.This is a full-time position with benefits such as commuter assistance and Provident Fund.
