Job Description

    The Service Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of various technical systems and equipment for clients or customers. With a focus on installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, client support, preventive maintenance, documentation, training, quality control, technical expertise, safety, and collaboration, the Service Engineer contributes to the overall success of the team.The ideal candidate for this position should possess a B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical with a minimum of 3 years of experience, or an ITI with at least 5 years of experience. Specific experience in Printers and Scanners or similar IT Equipment and Electro Mechanical Devices is preferred.Installation and Maintenance tasks include installing, commissioning, and maintaining OMR & Document Scanners from Sekonic (Japan) according to manufacturer guidelines. Troubleshooting skills are essential for diagnosing technical issues promptly to minimize downtime for clients. Excellent customer service is provided through addressing client inquiries, offering technical support, and ensuring client satisfaction.Preventive Maintenance schedules are created and executed to prevent unplanned downtime and maintain equipment at peak performance. Detailed documentation of service activities is maintained for future reference and analysis. Training of clients or end-users on proper equipment usage and maintenance is crucial to minimize service calls and maximize equipment lifespan.Quality Control standards and industry regulations proposed by Sekonic (Japan) must be adhered to in all service work. Continuous learning and staying updated on technological advancements related to the serviced equipment are important. Safety protocols and guidelines are followed to ensure the safety of both the service engineer and the clients personnel during service visits.Collaboration with other team members, including sales and support teams, is essential to provide comprehensive solutions to clients. The Service Engineer contributes significantly to the overall success and satisfaction of clients through their technical expertise and dedication to quality service.,
