Job Description

    We are seeking a Vice Principal to work closely with the Principal in providing leadership and support for the overall management of the school. This role encompasses a mix of administrative, instructional, and student-focused responsibilities. You will collaborate with the school governing body in managing and administering the school, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations by working alongside school staff. Your responsibilities will include developing and implementing school policies, procedures, and guidelines. Addressing student behavior issues, enforcing school rules and disciplinary policies, and fostering a positive and respectful school culture through collaboration with teachers and staff will be essential.You will play a key role in assisting with the development and implementation of the schools curriculum, working with teachers on instructional strategies, curriculum planning, assessment, and ensuring alignment with educational standards. Supporting teacher professional development initiatives, conducting classroom observations, providing constructive feedback to teachers, and participating in teacher recruitment, orientation, and retention efforts are also part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will oversee student services, extracurricular activities, and engage with parents and guardians to address student behavior concerns and communicate regarding school activities and student progress.Maintaining positive relationships with the local community and external stakeholders, developing and implementing emergency response plans, ensuring school compliance with safety regulations and protocols, and engaging in continuous professional development to stay updated on educational leadership practices are crucial aspects of the role. Analyzing student performance data, preparing reports on student achievement, attendance, and behavior, using data to identify areas for improvement, and collaborating with the school governing body on decision-making and strategic planning are also part of your responsibilities.In the absence of the Principal, you will assume leadership responsibilities. The ideal candidate should possess excellent leadership qualities, communication skills, personnel management capability, and the ability to coordinate student affairs activities. Building community relations and holding a Post Graduate degree with a mandatory B.Ed, along with 10-15 years of teaching experience and a minimum of 5 years of leadership experience are required qualifications.This is a full-time permanent position with a day shift schedule.
