Job Description

    As a Senior Contracts Administrator at Turner Townsend, your role will be crucial in providing services that assist clients in devising strategies for successful business solutions, ensuring project delivery confidence, effective project management, control, and knowledge transfer. You will be based at the client project site offices in Uganda, working closely with the Project Services Team.**Key Responsibilities:**- Prepare commercial information for contract and purchase approval documents- Assist in the payment process of contracts and purchase orders- Assist with the preparation of tender documentation and adjudication of tenders- Create and maintain commercial registers- Create and maintain financial data in SAP or other systems- Insert data and maintain contracts module as per clients document control system- Provide contracts assurance functionality for design consultants- Ensure that tender and contract documentation is prepared to minimize risks- Handle contractor and consultant progress claims, variation claims, and other issues during design, procurement, and construction contracts**Key Qualifications and Experience Required:**- Tertiary Qualification or studying towards one- Minimum of 5 years contract management experience in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment- Good understanding of modern contracting strategies for major infrastructure projects- Strong experience in handling progress claims, variation claims, and other contract-related issues- Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and efficient worker- Proven communication and presentation skills- Ability to work under pressure and in an EPCM project environment- Matric or equivalent qualification- Strong procurement and project controls experience- Attention to detail and understanding of modern contracting strategies**Additional Information:**Turner Townsend values its people and promotes a healthy, productive, and flexible working environment to support work-life balance.
