Job Description

    As the Head of Marketing & Business Growth, you will play a crucial role in leading the sales, marketing, distribution, and business development functions of the company. Your responsibilities will extend beyond achieving sales targets to encompass understanding market dynamics, identifying growth opportunities, strengthening channel partnerships, and building a performance-driven sales organization.- Develop and execute comprehensive sales and business growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives.- Drive revenue growth across product categories, regions, and distribution channels.- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and geographic expansion initiatives.- Collaborate with leadership on pricing strategies, trade schemes, and margin optimization.- Improve forecasting accuracy to support production planning, inventory management, and business performance.- Continuously monitor market trends, customer preferences, competitor activities, and industry developments.- Analyze buyer behavior, emerging textile trends, and evolving distribution models.- Gather structured market feedback and translate insights into actionable business strategies.- Identify opportunities for new products, fabric innovations, and strategic partnerships.- Strengthen and expand the companys distributor, dealer, retailer, and key account network.- Develop channel growth plans and improve market penetration across India.- Implement effective trade programs and channel incentive structures.- Build sustainable relationships with key channel partners and institutional customers.- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.- Create a culture of accountability, ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.- Coach team members on product knowledge, market engagement, and sales effectiveness.- Establish clear KPIs, performance reviews, and development plans.- Represent the company across industry forums, exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer engagements.- Enhance brand visibility, reputation, and market positioning.- Build strategic relationships with major customers, brands, distributors, and industry stakeholders.- Serve as a key ambassador for the company within the textile ecosystem.- Monitor order pipelines, sales forecasts, production alignment, and delivery commitments.- Collaborate with manufacturing, planning, procurement, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution.- Drive customer satisfaction through proactive issue resolution and relationship management.- Oversee payment collections, inventory coordination, and supply chain alignment.- Develop long-term business growth plans and market expansion strategies.- Participate in annual business planning, budgeting, and strategic reviews.- Provide leadership with actionable business insights and growth recommendations.- Support the organizations transformation into a professionally managed, growth-oriented enterprise.Qualifications Required:- Graduate or Postgraduate degree from a recognized institution.- MBA in Marketing, Textile Management, or related discipline preferred.- Textile Engineering or Textile Technology qualification will be an added advantage.Experience Required:- 1520 years of experience in textile sales, marketing, and business development.- Strong experience in suiting, shirting, fashion fabrics, or related textile segments.- Proven track record of driving revenue growth, market expansion, and team development.- Established network across distributors, dealers, retailers, garment manufacturers, and textile trade channels.In this role, you will need to possess key skills such as Sales Leadership, Business Development, Textile Marketing, Distribution Management, Channel Sales, Strategic Planning, Market Research & Analysis, Team Management, Revenue Growth, Key Account Management, Forecasting & Demand Planning, Brand Building, P&L Management, Trade Marketing, Customer Relationship Management, and Negotiation & Commercial Acumen.If you are a commercially driven textile industry leader with strong market intelligence and execution excellence, capable of team building, scaling businesses, and maintaining strong customer and channel relationships, we encourage you to apply.
