Job Description

As the Head of the Project Management & Assurance Group (PMAG) at our organization, your role is crucial in providing strategic direction, leadership, and management for the PMAG department to ensure alignment with organizational goals and project objectives. You will oversee and manage the performance of the PMAG team, including various roles such as Cost Controller & Financing, Planning Scheduling & Monitoring, Risk, Audit and Compliance, and Document Controller, fostering a collaborative work environment and effective communication across all team members and stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the PMAG department.- Oversee and manage the performance of the PMAG team, including various roles.- Foster a collaborative work environment and ensure effective communication.- Oversee cost control and financial management processes for thermal power plant projects.- Supervise the development, monitoring, and updating of project schedules.- Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks associated with projects.- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.- Supervise the administration and management of the Document Management System (DMS).- Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.- Lead recruitment efforts, succession planning, and learning and development initiatives.- Foster a positive work environment and address employee concerns effectively.Qualifications:- Educational Qualification: Graduate in Engineering required; postgraduate degree or MBA preferred.- Work Experience: Minimum of 20 years of extensive experience in project management, assurance, and control.- Preferred Industry: Extensive experience in the power generation industry or other large-scale industrial sectors.Your leadership and expertise will play a significant role in ensuring the success of project management, quality assurance, and financial control within the PMAG department.
