Senior Customer Support Engineer

Role Overview:You are being hired as a Senior Customer Support Engineer in Ahmedabad to provide support for Chromeleon Client-Server Installations and troubleshooting. This role involves onsite customer visits and traveling across the region, offering an exceptional opportunity to work in a world-class organization.Key Responsibilities:- Deploy Chromeleon CDS software on all types of client-server network architectures- Possess expertise in Windows domain, Server OS, Networking, DHCP, DNS, Cloud environment, Virtual servers, SQL, Oracle, etc.- Diagnose and troubleshoot software and network issues to minimize downtime- Understand Pharma Customer compliance and regulatory audits (USFDA, EDQM, ANVISA, EU)- Familiarity with Chromatography instruments like HPLCs, GCs, MS and their industry usage- Monitor customer KPIs, handle customer escalations, and conduct Review Meetings- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement maintenance solutions efficiently- Travel at short notice, including overnight stays in different cities/statesQualifications Required:- Bachelor of Engineering (Information Technology / E&TC / CS / Instrumentation/Bio-tech/other), BCA, MCA, or relevant experience- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Chromeleon CDS or other CDS applications available in the marketAbout The Company:Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc.
