Senior Network Engineer Level 2

Job Description

You will be responsible for troubleshooting customer technical faults and driving fault resolution. Regular communication, both verbally and written, with existing customers is required. Taking ownership and effectively managing support tickets, including incidents and change requests, will be a part of your role. Additionally, you will need to document customer solutions using OSS System, Visio documentation, and technical summary write-ups. Providing resources to the solution delivery team in supporting the configuration and implementation of new customer projects is also expected from you.**Key Responsibilities:**- Troubleshoot customer technical faults and drive fault resolution- Communicate regularly with existing customers- Manage support tickets, incidents, and change requests effectively- Document customer solutions using OSS System, Visio documentation, and technical summary write-ups- Provide resources to the solution delivery team for new customer projects**Qualifications Required:**- Bachelors Degree in B-Tech- CCNA CertificationThe company requires candidates with the following qualifications and skills:**Knowledge & Experience:**- CCNA, CCNP, and/or JNCIS certified- Experience with Unix-based operating systems- Programming and scripting experience in Python and bash scripting- Juniper platform configuration experience, especially with SRX and EX series- Firewall configuration experience, particularly with Fortigate, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA- Experience with Alcatel SR & ESS- Familiarity with networking test tools like Wireshark- Knowledge of networking principles equivalent to CCNA R&S or JNCIS-ENT level- Understanding of layer 2 switching protocols such as STP, Dot1Q, QinQ, VPLS- Knowledge of layer 3 routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP**Required Skills:**- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner- Flexible approach to work, capable of working effectively under pressure- Ability to work in a team with little supervision while using own initiative- Strong customer service focus- Responsible and willing to take ownership- Eager to learn and develop technical skills- Positive and professional attitudePlease note: Job Type is Full Time and the Job Location is Ahmedabad You will be responsible for troubleshooting customer technical faults and driving fault resolution.
