Job Description

    Role Overview:As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the accounting activities of the organization. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with Nokias accounting principles and internal controls, as well as external regulations. You will be a key contributor to the financial operations, working closely with various teams to maintain accurate financial records and reports.Key Responsibilities:- Manage and process accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Nokias principles and internal controls.- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses, providing insights to management.- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure data integrity.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze financial data for decision-making.- Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.- Perform account reconciliations and identify and resolve any discrepancies.- Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations, implementing changes as required.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar accounting role, preferably in a multinational company.- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
