Accounts Payable - US Accounting

Job Description

As a skilled Accountant at FinAdvantage, you will play a crucial role in managing daily accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting. Your expertise in US accounting practices, proficiency in QuickBooks, and strong understanding of accounting principles will be key to your success in this role. Additionally, experience with NetSuite will be considered an added advantage.**Key Responsibilities:**- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with US GAAP.- Utilize QuickBooks for bookkeeping, reporting, and transaction management.- Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.- Preparation of MIS and assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy of financial data.- Leverage NetSuite ERP (if applicable) for advanced financial reporting and process automation.**Qualifications:**- Semi qualified Chartered accountant / Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the US.- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required.- Experience with NetSuite is preferred.- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accounting standards.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong communication and organizational abilities.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a multi-faceted team of highly qualified professionals at FinAdvantage, a technology-powered organization that offers high-quality professional services to clients across various industries.
